We invite everyone who is curious and likes to be creative together. To share and learn about Ukrainian folk traditions during the winter days and to make your own Motanka Doll! So whether you are Dutch, Ukrainian or from another cultural background, feel welcome!

Two and a half years ago, many Ukrainians fled to neighboring countries for a temporary home. Also to Den Bosch. They have been living here for quite some time now and follow our habits and customs. But what culture do they save? What kind of traditions are important for them and what do these traditions mean?

There is a lot of enthusiasm to share that with others. Especially during the winter days! With this idea we organize a talk and workshop together with Ukrainian professionals. About Ukrainian folk traditions during the winter days and about making a Motanka Doll. So come and learn, share and meet. While enjoying snacks and traditional Ukrainian music!

Program:
14:00-14:30 pm: Talk about Ukrainian folk winter traditions
14:30-14.45 pm: Instructions making a Motanka Doll
14:45-16:00 pm: Making your own Motanka Doll
16:00-16.30 pm: Cleaning and time for drinks!

Costs: €7,50, including materials and snacks.
